New Jerseyans pay the highest taxes in the nation, and we are dead last in the dollars brought back home. Joe will fight to bring those dollars to where they are truly needed – here in South Jersey.

We need a congressman who will bring jobs across sectors from manufacturing to tech. Joe will use his expertise as a job creator to help us where others have failed.

Joe will safeguard Social Security and Medicare, which seniors worked their whole lives to earn. And he will encourage a transition to programs like the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Care Tax Credit, which empower people to help themselves.

Essential goods and services have become too expensive. Housing is out of reach. Exorbitant college tuition is destroying the hope of prosperity for Americans. Too many of our neighbors can’t afford quality healthcare.

Too many politicians seek support by stoking fear or anger or prejudice. What’s worse these days is that they try to govern the same way! We must recognize that we are all in this boat together and our goal cannot be to throw half the passengers overboard. Instead, we should be mindful of our fallibility, stay open-minded to contrary opinions and do what good we can when we cannot do all we would wish.
