Democratic challenger Joe Salerno conceded to three-time incumbent Jeff Van Drew in the race for New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District seat.
“I want to extend my deepest thanks to my wife Della, my family, and the volunteers that worked so hard to support me,” said Salerno. “The ultimate mark of a strong democracy is to support the will of the voters. While I was naturally working for a different result, I respect the people, the process, and the system that’s vital to this country.”
